Need Catchy Name For Animal Rescue Group

Posted by a_morr on 250 Points
I'm starting a new animal rescue group in Southern Indiana. In order to get our 501(c)3 status, we have to submit the name of our group. No other group in Indiana can have the same name.
For example: SCAR (Second Chance Animal Rescue)
The name will be on t shirts, banners, social media, our website, and business cards. This name is already in use.
I'm considering KARMA. I can use the first 3 letters to spell out Kentuckiana Animal Rescue.
We will also be rescuing animals in the Louisville area, since we are on the border, hence the name Kentuckiana.

INKY Animal Rescue (IN=Indiana/KY = Kentucky). Inky could also become a mascot name for branding.

KARMA and INKY both pass initial screening from a communication standpoint. INKY is specific to INdiana and KentuckY. KARMA has the KAR ... but may be less memorable because (a) the concept of karma is somewhat removed from your mission, and (b) it relies on the "Kentuckiana" word/name that may not be top-of-mind for many people.

I wouldn't worry so much about the places your name would appear and the "catchy-ness." It's more about the good deeds you will do and what you stand for. The people who care about your mission won't care so much about the "catchy" (or not-so-catchy) name.
