Which Country Is Good For Advertising Study?

Hello,

I had MBA degree from Shivaji Universities, SIBER college at Kolhapur, India. I'm working with local ad agency in Pune , India but interested in getting Master's in Advertising or Integrated Marketing Communications.

Please suggest which country is good to study advertising master's? also tell me if you know about any particular Masters / Graduate Program.

    tinker, thanks for your reply. what is your opinion about Canada or Australia compared to USA? Because Study in USA (advertising / marketing communication field) is a costly affair. pls suggest.

    How about asking yourself where you want to take this education. What countries appeal to you more? Do you have any natural affinity to a particular country?

    Do some research first, look at advertising websites in different countries - I assume you want to stick to English-speaking countries, so research will not take you too long.

    As a cross-cultural marketer I have come across a few blogs by heads of advertising companies in different countries. These people have always been approachable - so, why not take your research further and engage in conversations with a few people in different countries?

    Not only will you probably find your own natural preference, but you will also probably gain specific insights about the education programs you need.

    My personal choice? I live in France - so I'd probably choose a French program. The good schools are expensive here though.
    I know Canada is very multicultural. Would this benefit your personal background?

    cindykingbiz, thank you very much for your reply. Yes, as you asked, I really feel USA is the country where I should go and study. I have searched some Universities which have graduate programs in IMC (Integrated Marketing Communication) or Advertising.

    On your guidelines I will surely contact people who are working in this field.

    Since you have worked or experienced different cultures can you tell me about the job opportunities in USA after getting MS degree in Advertising / IMC / Brand Management. Do you have any clue?
