very general question so very general answer.

    1. produce highly relevant video content

    2. upload to most appropriate video hosting sites, e.g. youtube

    3. register on many of the social media sites using your B2B keyword tags

    4. targeted email program with links to your content.

Of course, great execution is the path to success.

    good luck,

The problem you'll face is while you can get a video to be outrageous and passed along as entertainment, that's unlikely to help your internet company (unless you're in the business of making internet viral videos). You want customers, not just traffic. Focus on your target market, and develop a strong long-term plan to attract people. B2B customers want proven ROI, not just fun.

Jay makes a good point that some marketers may develop "outrageous" content strictly to build traffic.

To expand on "highly relevant video content", this would be message and content of a more educational nature targeting very specific B2B executive issues and shedding some light on a problem or opportunity. First by providing useful information, in the easy to absorb video format, your company builds goodwill for the brand. Probably more important is creating an action step based on the video's content, e.g. a link that takes the user to an interactive experience based on the video's subject matter. Could be a calculator or a configurator that allows to user to input data and instantly see results that will help them in some way. This kind of program is "viral" only to your target, as a general audience would not have any interest in such esoteric information.

We have developed many of these B2B interactive tools, and while not cheap they can be very effective and useful for a long time. Please see my profile for contact information should you have further questions.
