Welcome to our forum. I think you will find that this form can be a very helpful source for many marketing related questions.

However, it is our policy not to do homework for people. Please take a moment and read the important guidelines by following a link to your right.

I would suggest that you spend some time with Google and come up with a preliminary list. Start by doing your own thinking. You might even share some of the helpful links you find with us.

Once you have your own preliminary answers, maybe some folks here can add some helpful insights. Many folks here have dozens of years of experience in marketing. But, again, we will not do your work for you.

If it's a new country you have all the issues of how you sell (distribution, agents, in-country office). Then you have all the costs (legal compliance, languages, packaging and contact information, how you provide service and support, local sales staff etc). Much of this will depend on long term strategy and the importance of the country you want to export to. Of course you could just throw it up on the Internet and hope, but that's not really a strategy. The precise circumstances of the country, the target market, product, and competitive situation will all be factors.

A one size fits all is very unlike to be useful. For instance one contract could win you the whole of the sales target, or alternatively you may need 30,000 contracts. It's in the detail.
