Using Webinars For B2c Sales

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I work in Marketing for a health care group in the Bay Area. I wanted to explore the idea of hosting Webinars on LASIK and Advanced Vision Correction for prospective customers. They've held in-person seminars in the past which have been pretty popular. I thought a Webinar might be a great way to reach prospective, but busy, customers and generate sales.

My questions:
- Have you used Webinars successfully in B2C situations?
- Which companies have you used?
- Any other advice?

Please let me know if you need any other information. Thanks for your help.

One of the most important keys to a successful webinar is the marketing plan. How will people learn that the webinar is going to happen? What's the marketing plan that gets people from unaware to aware?

Of course the webinar has to be useful for the target audience, but the first consideration needs to be the marketing plan for the webinar. This is not a situation where "if you build it they will come."

    Webex is the big guy
AccuConference was smaller and less expensive.

Advise? Do the presentation to your staff using the product before you go out to your prospects. Practice. Practice. Practice.
