Airline Fare Trends Over Time

hello there,
i am looking to track trends in airline fares over time i.e since 2000 or before. for me to compre trends i also need to have airlines individual prices for example British airways, BMI, Swiss and others
Also it must include a hub i.e heathrow to frankfurt.
i have lookedeverywhere so far but havent been successful.
i have been on the american website fare compare, but their 2 year records do not provide a sufficirnt information for me to follow trends.
does anyone have any suggestons please? much appreciated, thank you

    I would expect this kind of information to be highly proprietary for the individual airlines. It could certainly be very valuable for competitors.

    I think you're not going to be able to conduct this analysis unless you work for one of the airlines and then it would be almost impossible to include any other airline. It could even be considered a form of pricing collusion, and thus be illegal in some countries.

    Why are you doing this analysis? Maybe there's some other way to come at it.

    Check out: https://www.phocuswright.com/ (who do travel industry research & travel reports). They have a number of case studies/reports which may be of use. Furthermore, you may wish to directly communicate with them to both help your research and for a possible job opportunity in the future...
