Selling To A Niche - Internet Business

hi, One of the ideas sold in books and by marketing websites is that anyone can start and operate an internet business by making it highly specific. They say that you find your highly specialized niche, find out the keywords, build a website that uses these keywords and you can sell products or services to that audience. Iam a techie by nature and therefore I have not tried this idea. Does this idea really work? or there are better ideas for internet business?.

    Well..it sounds right.

    But it's true for any business. You have to be able to reach a niche that nobody else is...or better than anyone else. The internet is just one place to do it
