Is there a difference between a sponsored magazine and a client magazine? If yes, what is the difference?

And anybody who knows where I could find some more information about client magazines?

tnx,

The term "client magazine" isn't familiar to me. Do you know what it is, or can you point us to some examples?

Maybe it's a product brochure in magazine format?

From "Media Ethics" (by Bart Pattyn, European Ethics Network): "There is also no clear definition for the term 'sponsored magazine.' However, on the basis of the common elements in the various and diverse definitions in the literature, we can offer the following general definition. A sponsored magazine, originally called a 'corporate sponsored magazine,' is a (usually) unsolicited and freely distributed printed publication which is financed by one or more organizations, and strongly resembles a magazine. According to the definition of Schuttel, the points or resemblance are, ofr example, the inclusion of clearly-defined editorial articles, a minimum length of sixteen pages and periodic publication....It is often not obvious from tha magazine's title which organisation is responsible for its publication..."

A client magazine is clearly labeled and produced by a single company to describe their offerings. As Randall mentions, it's more of a brochure with a specific slant.
