    Dear Jsctechnologies,

First, register your own domain name and ditch the .blogspot.com ending. It's doing you no favours. And consider changing your domain name so that it includes one of your primary keywords.

At the moment, as in right now, www.namecheap.com has www.iphoneinnovations.com wide open.

Jump on it. Now. Chop, chop! If you don't, someone else will.

Second, change the mast head of your site. It needs to ooze sex appeal and everything iphone related. At the moment it's ... well, dreary.

Third, link and post to other authority sites and include your link in your post. This will help push traffic to your site.

Fourth, join iphone related affiliate programs and post content related to those affiliate links (banners, ads, content from the vendors), and all of it benefit rich, value laden.

    Rinse and repeat.

    I hope this helps.

If you start with the objective of making money with your blog, you are likely to fail. Start instead by doing everything you can to make your blog valuable to a lot of people.

Advertising on your blog site will only be lucrative if you have a lot of visitors, and you'll only have a lot of visitors if (a) you have something really valuable for them, and (b) you market aggressively to generate awareness.

Having a great blog with low awareness doesn't cut it. And having great awareness but low value ensures that you're a flash in the pan.

    Read Michael's advice again.

Michael, bang on! Amen. I was working under the impression that the questioner had been up and running for some time, but yes, Jsctechnologies, heed Michael's advice. It's pure gold.

Content first, quality and value all around, and THEN look toward making money. If you're any good at what you do, the money will come as a natural part of your overall offering.

    I hope this helps.

P.S. Michael, could you delete my first post (above). I've no idea why it came through twice, but the one with the links might be of most use to the questioner. Thank you.

Others have given you wonderful advice. Great/unique content will make people want to read your blog. Add something like AdSense to match the content with relevant ads. Finally, build traffic quickly by using PPC (ideally transitioning to organic SEO after you've identified what keywords are bringing in traffic).

I completely agree with the previous advice. If you need help concerning SEO you should probably read https://www.searchenginejournal.com/. It also might be helpful to leave Blogspot and move to e.g. Wordpress because they give you more options to technically improve your blog.
Hope that helps a little bit.

    Dear JCT,

Excellent advice from my colleagues on this board. Do not waste any time implementing them, especially the domain suggestion - now that it is public.

Now is also the best time to start building a mailing list. A truly valuable list can only be built over time, so start now. A weekly email with the best application you have found over the last week would be a good idea. In the long term this will help you retain traffic you attract now and turn it into a revenue stream once you reach a certain level.

    Hope this helps.
