Market Research For Coolers

Hej,

For my University project I have to conduct a market research for evaporative coolers manufacturers in Europe and North America. Unfortunately, I have encountered several problems. I found several companies, but they do not have information about revenues, market share and sometimes no information about markets addressed. I wrote to one company, but they replied that it is a secret information. Do you know any websites, where i can find such information? I have already found hoovers, but it seems that the information they provide is not sufficient.

    The kind of information you seek is probably not available publicly. I can't imagine why a company would provide this kind of confidential information when it could end up in the hands of their competitors and be used to develop strategies and plans that could hurt their competitive standing.

    Why don't you focus on their positioning as expressed in advertising and on their websites? Those are easily accessed and should provide plenty of opportunity for analysis, comparison and contrast.
