Need Tagline For A High School

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
My son's high school focuses on children who have learning disabilities and/or who learn differently. While we want to market directly to our target group, the students are sensitive to the image of the school as catering to "dumb" or "different" kids (this is high school remember!). We are currently revamping our marketing and ad campaign and need a tagline that effectively attracts our target market, while still respecting how the students perceive the image of the school.

What about using the term, "out of the box?" For instance, "A school for kids who think out of the box!"

    Great minds think differently!
(Makes different a positive, and calls their minds great up front.)

Are you up to the challenge?
(The challenge has lots of meanings, but it makes the students feel like they are hanging tough/heroic?)

    Can do. You, too!
    (Not very deep, but catchy.)

One on one learning that puts you first.

I'm not sure the slogan needs to reference special needs kids at all. After all, even so-called "normal" kids don't like to have their differences pointed out, and special needs kids (and their parents) want the same things everyone else does--a good, friendly school that prepares them for their futures.

So, I would probably suggest something that emphasizes those qualities, like:

Learning for Life (or Learning for a Lifetime)
    or
    Believe and Achieve

    or something like that.
