Would like to know what is the recommended/standard format (if there is one) to put up a vodcast/webcast/webinar.
We currently have a .wmv and .mov file which are a recording of a webinar (PowerPoint Slides + voice).
The duration of this recording is 17 mins 30 secs
File size for .mov is 40 MB
File size for .wmv is 32 MB
These recordings/videos are of decent quality.
Compressing them any further means loss of quality and does not serve the purpose as users can barely read the slides.
Are these file sizes acceptable? or do we need to have smaller file sizes for webinars/vodcasts?
Is there a standard file format that works better?
Any resources/links/guidance on what is a good file format/size to aim for?
Thank you for your time and help.
Cheers!
