Student Looking For Help

I live in Sacramento and I'm looking for a little guidance in the area. If anyone has any input on how to find this or knows of anything in the area that would be a great help.

    I'm trying to find my way in the marketing business. Everyone I've spoken to has suggested getting a mentor or someone near me to talk to or work with. I was just wondering if there was anyone on here from sacramento who might be willing to give me some pointers. I'm not sure what I will be doing as of yet, but a point in the right direction would be helpful. So far PR and Brand marketer seem like something I would be interested in.
