I need assistance. I have worked in restaurants for over 15 years including owning and operating one currently. I also own a local advertising business. I feel that my unique experience, background, knowledge, and passion for increasing sales by implementing marketing plans makes me valuable in the restaurant/foodservice consulting arena.
My questions is this. What would be the best way to break into the market? In New England there are not a lot of consultants specializing in this market. I am currently doing so me Pro Bono work in order to establish a portfolio.
Are there certain groups that would assist in my success? Are there any great networking groups?
Is there any industry specific knowledge that anyone here has to share?
Thanks in advance for taking the time out of your day to assist me.
