How Do I Get Healthcare Companies To Advertise?

    You need to target the companies that are likely to want to place ads with you. What can you tell the advertisers about your newsletter placement? The region? The physician specialty? The active readership? Is the newsletter for the office staff to read or their clients?

    Dear ahlack,

    You demonstrate that you have readers through letters to the editor, through social proof, through feedback to "Dear Jane" type pages, by working with journalists who can write, and by offering content that people want to read.

    You can show you have readers by hosting competitions, by arranging publicity drives through radio stations, TV stations, and other magazines. Subscription proof also shows that people are giving you money in exchange for content.

    All of this adds to your aura of a publication that like-minded advertisers will want to do business with.
