Help With Ideas For Marketing Dissertation

Hi there I am currently on my placement year at uni and have been instructed to come up with ideas that i can put forward for my dissertation. I am interested and feel i can write about Branding, Marketing plans, communication/ advertising, ethics within marketing etc. If anyone has been in this situation or has any ideas that i could use to pitch to my prof i would be very grateful.

    Dear Riah,

    Ideas:

    Ethics in branding: financial melt down and the right to do wrong.
    Message Not Received and Misunderstood: The failure of big brand advertising to create meaning.
    Which Comes First, The Message or the Money? Direct Response Results vs Madison Avenue Flash.

    But, you really ought to be coming up with your own angle on this. It’s YOUR chance to shine. You will NOT get another one quite like it until you write your best seller.

    Concentrate on making your voice and your research ORIGINAL. This means NOT copying and pasting. it means doing the work on your own and on pulling together thoughts that connect and that really pull the reader in.

    I hope this little bit of advice helps.
