    Dear saurabhsahay5,

This sounds like a homework question, and a confused one at that.

To answer this question (which is actually against forum policy), we'd ned to know what's being invested and just what you mean by a cafe coffee day. In my experience, cafes tend to sell coffee all day.

    Dear saurabhsahay5,

You are the second student in two days who has succeeded in pissing Randall off. I wish to make it clear that this is not a wise move.

The sooner you begin to do things for yourself, the sooner you'll be taken more seriously.

Can I offer to do the work for you as I'm having dinner with your course professor next week at the meeting of the General Council of the University of St Andrews where he is our guest?

As I'll be able to ask him why you want your work doing for you, I can undercut Randall and charge you only $9,000.

You can then use the $1000 you will have saved to find a new school at which to resume your studies.

    Best wishes

    Dear saurabhsahay5,

I'll do it. But it'll cost you $25,000. Cash. In advance.
And you'll get it when I'm good and ready to deliver it!

Gary - you ought to have a word with Tim Smith (Wiglaf) about pricing. You are meant to undercut - you madman!

Unless of course you know something I don't about his / her ability to pay and the difficulty of the question?

Surely though our offers are irrelevant as if he / she carries on in this manner, he / she won't have anyone to hand the answer in to or a course of which he / she is a member?

Some of the information you seek is on their website (https://www.cafecoffeeday.com) the rest can be obtained by some thinking.

    Dear Stevea,

There's method in my pricing madness:

Expensive = out of a certain shoppers price range. Exclusivity and all that.

It's unlikely to come to anything, besides, to paraphrase Douglas Adams (whom I miss terribly), in an ultimate universe, anything is possible.

I read recently about a well-known direct response copywriter who not long ago spent $375,000 on a 2008 Rolls Royce, the inside of which is like the great hall of an exclusive gentleman's club. From this investment he's now pulling in a handsome income.

    How?

By renting it, and himself, out for an evening of driving, dinner, and business chat. And all for the knockdown, bargain basement price of several thousand dollars per head.

So far, he's made over $100,000! Recession? What recession?
    Triple G&Ts all round!
