    Dear cham82,

Your question is sound. It also needs more detail.

I'm saying this because the topic "international business" is pretty wide ranging in scope, and the term "good topics" is too open.
Off the top of my head I can come up with at least 20 different topics that I consider "good", but to you, they might all sound as dull as ditch water.

Here's an example: There's a great deal of attention given to
the term "Internet marketing", which many people believe (mistakenly) is all about making money by showing people how
    to make money. It's not.

At the moment the gravy of your question is either one big lump, or way too watery. So, in order to help yourself, consider asking yourself a few extra questions to thicken the gravy of your task.

    Does this make sense?

Here are a few examples to ponder:

What specific aspects of international business appeal to you?
Manufacture, distribution, R&D, imports and exports, infrastructure, human resources, raw materials, advertising and marketing, fulfillment? The list goes on, but you get the general idea.

Which specific economies of which individual countries or regions spring to mind or stand out for you and why?

Do you want to focus on established economies and businesses,
    or on emerging areas?

    Will you look at the human element (people, ideas, and thinking); at the mechanics of trade (production, shipping, and distribution);
at the policy side of things (government, unions, supply and demand); at consumption (price, use, need and demand)?

    Or at some other area?

Which particular businesses or individual niches WITHIN those countries or economies hold your attention or are of interest to you and why?

Which market sectors do you see yourself working in?

Which market sectors might you have already worked in, thereby giving you unique, insider knowledge?

Once you've answered some—or all—of these questions you'll begin to distill things down a little more.

The more specific you can be now, the tighter and more appealing you'll make your final product and the easier you'll find both the research and the writing aspects of things.

    I hope this helps.
