Need Grocery Store Name

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need to come up with a name for a new grocery store. Could be franchised..Key words to describe are..
upscale, boutique style, fresh.
First store is on a resort, small scale (12,000 sq.ft.)
Main focus on perishable products, meat, deli, produce and in store full bakery.
Upscale clientele and location. Emphasis on fresh, gourmet products, chef prepared meals to go..full deli and bakery. No centre isle, open concept. No emphasis on price..store is quality and service driven with attention to the shoppers unique experience in the store. Need to keep the word "market", out of the name.

A good friend named a store like you are describing "Promelis", very successful in upscale newport beach.

You might try going through a list of french and italian designer names or places to inspire an original name that rings true to you.

    hope this helps,

    Note to Phil,
Thanks for your input, however this is a grocery store, not a deli only. The newest stores in the grocery market are small format stores. All the amenities of a large store in a smaller footprint. Our store has the same lineals as a bigger store in our meat, deli, bakery produce, floral dept.'s as well as a full service pharmacy. I have attached a link to a good article about these smaller stores..Wallmart, Tesco, SuperValu and many more are already out with their customer friendly smaller cousins...

Thanks to everyone who responded, great answers and input. I think we have to go with the tried and true family name to input warmth and the feeling of sustainability over time to our customers. Thanks to "WMMA" for your input and convincing me of this. I am truly amazed at the time and careful thought put into answers...
    Thanks again,
    Chris
ps...OH NO out of points! What will I do without you!
