Help With Creative Name For Business...

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am starting a personal chef business in north Florida, on the coast. I would like to incorporate my family names in the company name, however they don't describe my services. I would like to set the business apart from others in the area.( not using regular things like catering, personal chef ext.) Maybe a key word or phrase would be better. I've been told these types of names can increase interest and curiosity......Any thoughts or recommendations?

I do live in north Florida, a lot of companies use First Coast or Atlantic. I guess I am looking for a name that reflects my personality and food. Which by the the way are great.. of course. So starting over with a blank sheet of paper is fine...just looking for something NOT the norm for the industry. Any ideas would be great....happy to give more info if needed. Here are some key words that may help:

Mary Kate, Comfort, Humor, Dinner, Food, Beaches, Complete, Entertaining, Different, Discrete, Daly, Memorable..

    Thanks,

The keywords that you provided don't help me, since they're not describing the experience of working with you nor tasting your food. So, what makes working with you the RIGHT choice for someone? Where is your ideal customer located? Why would they hire you?

    You may try

    Happy Chef
Buddy Chef- "more than personal, we're friends" or
"not just personal" for a tagline

Local customer base are, working middle to high income families, individuals who travel, live alone or just don't like or know how to cook. My personality is easy going and not stressed. I can adjust to almost any situation with ease while making people feel very comfortable and relaxed. This service is new to a lot of families so its important that they don't feel intimidated. My entree's are a mix of comforts foods intertwined with a gourmet bistro flare. This gives the client the best of both worlds while justifying the price for the service. Which includes, shopping, preparation, packaging and leaving the kitchen spotless. I like " not just personal" that is interesting.... Thanks for all your input..

Thanks for your responses. For those who are not familiar with the Personal Chef Industry, all cooking is done in the clients home, usually when they are not home. However, sometimes they can be, depending on the situation. Please see above response for type of cooking and services and what sets the myself apart, keywords & comfort, Bistro. In most households in this country this is considered American food, unless otherwise specified. Set menu, but exceptions are certainly considered for dietary reasons and family preferences. Thank you for you time and consideration. I've given a lot of information in reference to the business and myself. Just looking for help with a name. Helen, I like your idea....Thank you.
