Why do you want to be a CEO?

Unfortunately, there's no school for CEOs, so your best advice is to interview bank CEOs in your area to find out where they studied, what roles they had, etc. Being a CEO is more about being a leader than being a follower. Focus on your people skills, not just your book skills.

    Dear mugdha.15,

What do you want to be the CEO of, and why? What qualifies you to do the job? How many decades of experience do you bring to the table?

Unless you start your own company, the road to being CEO of anything is a long one: it involves pain sacrifice, hard work, toil, courage, commitment, know how, guile, and an ability to act in spite of nay sayers and morons.

There is only two schools for CEO's: the University of Life, and the School of Hard Knocks. How long it takes you to graduate is up to you and your diploma, when you get it, will have been earned the hard way: through steely resolve.

    I hope this helps.
