If you are looking for information on SEO and PPC, try SpyFu. It will let you know how much they spend in online advertsising and what terms are driving people to their respective websites.

If you are looking for something more, let us know.

In general, information about how company does its marketing is not readily available. The best source will be to search periodicals (newspapers and business magazines) for articles on the company you are interested in to see what data you can get.

There likely won't be a section saying what Kingfisher's marketing plan is, but there often is some data that will let you make guesses as to how they are doing it. It is often easier to start this process by looking at a SWOT and PESTEL analysis for the company, so you know the type of data to look for.

And this is likely what your professor wants you to do. If you were working for a company that was trying to set its marketing plan, there won't be anyone that can tell you how to do it. You need to research what is going on with that company and in the market, and determine how to go to market from that data.

    Dear bidishaabanerjee,

You're not going to like this, but tough: Google it.

Yours is a homework question and the terms of this forum prevent contributors from helping with homework.

Think about this REALLY carefully: the Kingfisher question is well documented online, so by asking for someone to GIVE you the answer, you're essentially broadcasting the news that you're too
lazy to look for the information yourself.

Harsh? Yes. But honest. Take time to invest in yourself and the effort will pay off. Expect everyone else to do your heavy lifting for you and you'll join the ranks of the mediocre managers that have cluttered up the world of business for far too long.

Do some work, show you are willing to make the effort, and you'll go much farther.

    I hope this helps.
