Discribing Costumers In A B2b Enviroment

Hi

I'm a Belgian student. For the moment I'm doing my marketing internship at a company that offers IT outsourcing solutions to other businesses. One of my tasks is describing the current clients of the company. Therefore i was wondering if any of you know certain theories or models that can be used for this. (I already looked in to CRM and ABC systems, but that wasn't sufficient). I'm not looking for an explanation WHY you should do it, but HOW!

    I wouldn't bother with the theories I'd ask the clients. If you ask around 6-10 clients you'll be surprised what you will find out. Plus you can use some of their 'real life' quotes. After all it is about them. Just make sure you don't put words into their mouths, ask open questions.
