Online Retail Biz Names - State The Obvious?

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Should the name of an online retail biz (and it's domain name) describe or hint at the products/services being sold? Do consumers behave differently when a search (say for a fathers day gift) brings up domain name that is self evident (ie. Giftsformen.com) versus one that is more abstract (ie.superduper.com)? Is it helpful or just headache-inducing to incorporate the business's differentiators/USP's into the biz name?

By having the keyword in the domain name, you get a big SEO "bump". So, yes, making things obvious can help people find you.
