I have chosen the company, created a questionnaire, and interviewed the company's CEO.
I needed some advice on which fields should I stress on while creating the audit document.
This is my proposed structure:
-Executive Summary
-Scope of the document
-Introduction of the Company
-Industry Background (do i need to do a PEST in here?)
-Company structure
-Stakeholders of the company and which ones interact with the marketing department.
-Levels and activities interacted between the marketing department and it's stakeholders.
-Marketing department structure
-Analyze the marketing department's role in the following fields:
--promotions
--new product development
--target market research
-Marketing department's deliverables
-Marketing Department's Performance measurement in practice
-Critical Success factors of the marketing department
-Shortcomings within the marketing department (according to me)
-Suggestions (Conclusion)
I am limited to 2000-2500 words for this report, but I can use tables to show some of the data/information.
The only tool I can think of using is the PESTEL for industry analysis. The company however, operates in varied markets, so Porter's five forces won't be such a good idea considering my word limit. Is there any other tool I should use to support my document?
Is my proposed report structure good to go? Or should I add/omit some topics?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
