Topic For Dissertation On International Marketing

hello, I am a student of Northumbria university, UK. I want to write my dissertation topic on the steel industry. My course is Msc Business with management in international management. So I am interested to choose a topic related to marketing. I wanna make a dissertation of 15000 words and I am a bit confused about what topic should I do on it. I am interested in the steel industry and want to do something related to international marketing. can you suggest me some related topics?

    Pick a specific situation, or compare two specific companies, and examine the effectiveness and efficiency of their marketing approaches for exporting steel.

    The more specific you can be the easier it will be for you to focus on the issues and not be tempted to wander off on tangents.

    Identify the 4 or 5 key elements of your subject company's marketing practices and assess each one and how effective it has been. If they've been more successful in one country than another, see if you can figure out WHY. Which elements worked well in successful countries, but not so well in others. Keep asking "Why?"
