    Dear Big Money,

    E-mail marketing is permission-based marketing.

    You offer the people that are interested in your niche specific detail or value that's of use to them in exchange for their name and e-mail address. You then ask them to confirm their request to receive information and you then offer them benefits that are aligned with their desired outcome.

    It's better to build your own list. It IS possible to buy a list but it's not always going to serve you OR the people on the list as well as a list you build yourself.

    To build your list you need to offer 10 to 20 times the value in terms of worth of information as an ethical bribe or incentive to sign up to your list.
