What is a good example of a B2B company trying to launch into a new segment and/or new product that they don't have experience with and failing?

    I started selling computer equipment in the early 1980s, and I. we started was interesting to compare the success of IBM and Dell Computer with the relative failures of Digital Equipment Corporation and Sony.
