Need An Umbrella Name To Unite Different Jewelry Lines

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi everyone,

I have different jewelry lines that I want to produce but I would like to have one name to unite them all. The name has to be broad enough that I could delve into other materials or markets i.e greeting cards or clothing and I would like the name to have good resale value.

I've already have names and defined the market for my lines
a) Gift market b) MSRP $20-$50 c) Age range 15-35
1) Love Letters (Envelope shaped pendants with letter stamping)
2) Fancy Fables (Laser cut animal inspired jewelry)
3) Luckii (Antique keys casted into sterling silver)
Those lines will be my "bread and butter" and help fund my higher end line. The name for that has yet to be determined. I'm more concerned with the blanket name. I would like to start marketing that name by creating buzz through a blog and other social media as soon as possible.

My own name is out of the question. I've tried and it does not have any melodic ring to it what so ever. My first name Karen is too common. My last name sounds like Fungi and the way my middle name is pronounced sounds like Gummy. As well I'm trying to keep in mind the future, if I ever want to sell my business.

Here are the names that I've come up with so far but not sure about any of them

Jane and finch
(i like this but its the name of a "ghetto" part of Toronto)
Graceful empire or Imperial Grace
Meiku
Made Couture

Here are names I like but are taken
Lovelle
Toki collection
Nomi Chi
Lovers Tempo
Loveliette
Nouvelle

I'm at my wits end and need fresh ideas if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Karen

Any of your names could work, but none of them connote what you're selling. You could, for example, create "Gift market by Meiku" or "Imperial Grace's Luckii" names. However, by picking an abstract name you've given yourself an additional challenge: educating people what your name means (and why they should care). That'll add to your marketing costs. Furthermore, an abstract name won't help your SEO efforts.

Best suggestion: pick a name that includes the word "Jewelry" to at least make it obvious what you're selling.

    PARFAIT Jewelry ....

Either the image of a layered dessert (layers of lines in your collection) and/or the anglo version of -a french word for Perfection -is easily understood and not too out there!

Add any collective word if it pleases you as well. Group, Collection, House

    GoodlLuck

I Like Jane and Finch - sounds edgy, and people will know how to find you.
