Selling To Doctors

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
My company has developed a very sophisticated medical appointment scheduling system and I'm seeking ways to effectively marketing it. We are planning to sell this web based solution as subscription model to the doctors. The issue is that I find the doctors preferring the conventional phone based scheduling methods. What would be the best approach here?

I'm planning run an ad campaign followed by direct marketing by field staff. The idea is to make patient community aware of the product and prompt them to ask about this to the doctors, so that it becomes easy for the direct sales staff.

Any helpful suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave

    Dave,
As with any product you have to be able to identify the pain the prospect is experiencing. The reason they are happy with the current system is that they don't perceive a problem.

That's clearly not universal but you need to find those docs who are having trouble, whether is small offices or multi-location practices.
