Ethnic / Cross Cultural Marketing Opportunities

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Does anyone have any good sources for Ethnic marketing opportunities? Headhunters? Sites? Companies? etc...

I'm a Sr. Marketer based in the Middle East, and I'm looking for Senior Marketing opportunities and am willing to relocate to US or Europe. I speak 3 languages and here's my resume: [Resume deleted by staff]

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Khaled

    A very impressive resume, Khaled.

In my opinion, you're going about the process of finding another opportunity backward. You're essentially saying, "Here's who I am. Who will hire me?"

Instead, why don't you figure out which company has the most critical need for what you do best. Essentially, you'd identify your target and focus all your energy on landing the assignment at a company where you represent the perfect solution to their most pressing problem.

This is precisely the approach explained in The Potato Chip Difference. The book's subtitle is: How to apply leading edge marketing strategies to landing the job you want. (https://bit.ly/9Zq3jh)

There are a number of reasons why that approach will work better for you than the shotgun approach that broadcasts your desire to change jobs to a broad audience, most of whom can't help you much at all.

Michael's given you fine advice. Do your homework.

Alternatively, create a PPC campaign for yourself (for people looking to hire someone like yourself). That'll help you identify who's looking and you can fine-tune your keywords to find better prospects.

    OK. Here's a novel approach:

This is an excellent example of applying the concept explained in The Potato Chip Difference, as discussed above. (https://bit.ly/9Zq3jh)
