The Launch Of A Retail Web Store

I am launching a webstore. I will be selling retail items. I need advice on the most contemporary ways to do so. Of course I have the facebook link but is there a cool marketing tool that they have that is rarely used or is not known about? What are the trendy ways to catch people's eyes these days online when there is such a flood of advertising?

    If you already have your website ready, you can open a Fan page in Facebook. Or you may join forums related to the products you are offering and put signature links or backlinks to your site. It is not easy. It takes hard work and motivation to grow followers. Good luck!
