Internal Marketing Job Description

i am looking for job description method to introduce this to my chairman as he is going to make me a manager for this depart.

    What is the objective of the department? How will you know if you're succeeding (assuming you get the job)?

    Goodman is absolutely right. If you're looking for a place to gather ideas about what might go into your job description, you can start with websites like Monster.com and Salary.com, which list some basic job descriptions for various marketing positions (and salary info). Also search for jobs like yours and read the descriptions. From there, I would tailor the description to your goals and objectives, daily responsibilities, and how you liasion with other departments.
