I'm currently using Constant Contact but I'd like to purchase my own sofware that we can host on our server. Any recomendations?

We've been using Email Marketer for about 3 years. We are very happy with it. https://www.interspire.com/238-3.html

I would recommend against hosting it yourself, why would you want to do that? If you really want to go that route, check out Arial Software (www.arialsoftware.com) and StrongMail.
