So tell us about your customers. Who are they? What do you want them to do? What benefit do you provide for them? Why would they want a photo booth? How will they be better off after they have it? And is the customized skin something they will value, or is it just something you know how to do?

Naming starts with an understanding of your target audience. WHO are you naming the product for? What do you want them to know/do? How will you know if you have a good name -- other than the fact that you might like it?

A number of us here are really good at naming, but we need to understand the objective and the target audience in some depth before we can deliver what you need.

Let me rephrase my question. My target audiences are people who want a photo booth at their event for memeory reasons. They can have fun at the booth and have something to take with them and remember the event days after the event. I wanted to be able to customize the skins of the booth because that will allow them to feel more special and that they can have something their own. They will be able to keep the skins as memeory of their special day. We have a concept that changable skins for our booth one beening more formal like wedding and corp. (older audiences) events and another one for more for party like porms, birthdays, etc. (younger audiences teens through the 20's). A name should speak about what sets us different from other photo booths. To me our selling point will be the changable skins. The naming part will be somehting that will please to any age group because we want to have as wide of target audience groups as possible.

I submit that you're probably not selling against others with photo booths as much as you are against other forms of entertainment at these events. If that's the case, then your name should probably communicate the fun/benefit of having a photo booth, not so much the unique customized skin you can provide.

That's not to say the customized skin isn't a nice feature. But people don't buy features. They buy benefits.

So the thing to do is figure out how people decide on what they should have at their events. How do they learn about the possibility of a photo booth?

What words do customers use to describe their experience/satisfaction with a photo booth? Are they the same for all kinds of events, or is the benefit described differently for a wedding vs. a kid's party? A teen event? A corporate event or sales meeting? A convention?

Perhaps the most common fault in naming is trying to be too broad in the name, trying to appeal to different audience segments with a single name. What's so wrong with having a different name for each major segment, each specific to meeting a different need?

I'm not trying to make this more complicated. I'm simply reacting to a suspicion that you're dealing with some very different audiences, with different needs, and with different decision-making criteria. And you're trying to find a one-size-fits-all name that will be perfect for all of them. It won't happen.
