Best Web Plugin To Track User's Progress/activity?

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
I have an educomm initiative that is primarily web-based. I want a tool that enables web visitors to earn points for each task they complete. What tool would you recommend as a plug-in to our website that would enable tracking, reporting and profiliing of users.

"Plug in" is typically related to some flavor of CMS system whether it is blog based (e.g. Wordpress) or content based (e.g. Joomla). In order to recommend specific solutions we would need to know your web site environment.

    Take a look at: https://www.badgeville.com/
It sounds like it does what you want - but not as a plug-in.

If I am understanding your question, you want to use something like SiteMeter (www.sitemeter.com) - which costs about $7/month.

Once you sign up, it will give you a small code snippet to insert into each page on your site (no coding required, you just need to add this to your html/php pages). This will track page visits, site visits, and give you some demographics.
Competitors to SiteMeter are around - I just have not used any of them - stuff like Clicky.

I hope this helps in your search!
