"Food" is a wide niche. Narrow things down, tell us where you are, tell us where you want to be one year, two years, and five years from now.

I meant, a restaurant that started in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México.
This questions were just because I'm doing a school business report, supposing I want to be in every México en 2 years, and I want to be international in 5 years, I know is difficult but I just want some tips and strategies for making a local business (small business) into an international business :)

There's an old saying about how to make a small fortune: Start with a large fortune. :)

The first thing you have to do is become wildly successful in one local restaurant. Get to the point where people are lining up to get in, and they're talking about how great the place is with all their friends.

Then open a second location. Build it to the same level as the first. (Don't lose the magic in the first place!)

Then open locations 3, 4 and 5 -- one of them in another city -- perhaps Saltillo? -- and see if the concept plays well in a nearby location. If so, keep expanding. Learn from each new location.
