How To I Get More Activity On My Social Website

I have social network urbansoulz.com. I've been in existence for almost three years. In this time I have about 1100 members. The problem is out the 1100 I have about 50-100 active members. I need to know what marketing strategies to use in order to get more active members to get involved. I know one of the problems may be that it is a ning and I know there are social networks all over the place. Should I be happy with what I have or is there a way to branch out my business?

    What experience/connection are you giving people that they can't get elsewhere? That's what you need to promote.
