Something About Product Life Cycle Theory

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Product cycle theory has been a very "attractive" theory to many students. Why do you think that is?
This question is raised by our teacher after studying the "product cycle theory".But i can not figure it out what kind of relationships here between the theory and student, meanwhile, what does "attractive" mean here?
SO,could you please give me some clue about the question?

hi, i might be wrong but i guess the above answer has not addressed the real issue.

Its a simple thing buddy..PLC in so many words is satellite image of one's company..when you can see it like that , then you can break it down to give you so many things. Pricing, Processes, people , Policies, products and most importantly profit.

PLC is a strategic viewpoint that has numerous marketing applications. It is the backdrop, the context in which u can find the results of past and the promise of future.

This might sound as a flowery answer but u must once put this into application to realise the significance of this concept. Half the strategy consulting firms realise that!!

So a simple PLC can solve a whole lot of questions making it a quite attractive theory to learn. Hence its popularity with the students
