What Are The Most Innovative Ways Of Marketing?

i want to know the most innovative ways of doing marketin in general,with products or services

    There is no "marketing in general."

    Marketing is understanding consumer needs and delivering the products and services that satisfy those needs. Different consumers have different needs, and they have multiple needs.

    So "marketing in general" is a nonsense phrase. And then to come up with "the most innovative ways of doing marketin [sic] in general" is a meaningless exercise. There is no answer to the question.

    What is it you really need to know? Why?

    I agree with mgoodman (as usual), and I add that if you are thinking of "innovative" as in "new", then the question turns to what are the newest ways of marketing. In thinking of it this way, perhaps there is some emerging technology that has the potential to be useful to marketers, but it hasn't been tried to date. Could be a new media channel for messages, a new data collecting technology to measure campagin results or whatever the imagination can dream up. But not general marketing, which as pointed out above, is so basic it will never change.

    Gary Bloomer hit the nail on the head. If you answer his question, you''ll get better feedback. Meanwhile, two comments:

    1) "I don`t know anything about marketing. I just love my customers." Stated by a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and centimillionaire in the Q & A after a speech he gave at the Stanford New Venture Form of Stanford Business School, 1989. (His company was famous for brillant marketing.)

    2) Look at what has gone viral on YouTube and the social media for some ideas about innovative marketing and branding.

    about the question , am studying marketing and i have an assignment that i have to choose any topic related to marketing ,
    i wanted to do some thing new so i searched for innovative ways of doing marketing one of them is social media,sensorial marketing.. etc & i wanted to know more ways , not for specific product or target ,but what`s new in marketing , thanks again for reply

    Normally a student will post some of their own ideas and then professionals on this forum will give comments. Try that. Pick a product or service and try to come up with a new way of marketing it.
