Need Great Examples Of Forum Notification Emails

I'm working on improving a small business forum and I'm looking for examples of creative and engaging forum notification emails. Does anyone have any great examples they'd like to share?

Any forum specific email best practices are helpful too.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    - The audience is small business owners.
    - The emails need to inform the users about the activity on the forum i.e. if someone replied to their threads, if a new thread was started under a topic they follow, etc.
    - Right now the emails are just standard template responses; I''d like to have clearer messaging that helps with user retention.

    I''m really just looking for samples of engaging forum email responses. Even if they don''t fit with what I''ve outlined above, I''d like to see them so I can get some creative juices flowing.
