Hey does anyone have a creative name for a permanent recruitment firm. I've recently went out on my own and want to be the name that stands out that makes people want to pick up the phone and call rather than all the other agencies. Any ideas? I'm also in the Atlantic provinces, if that makes a difference.

    A name alone won't suddenly make people call you.
    But, a name that's well-targeted to your prospective customers will help to showcase your specialty. So, who is your ideal customer? What special services do you offer that others can't/don't? Why should someone want to do business with you?

    I realize that a name alone wouldn't make people call me but it would be nice to have a name that would stick out compared to all the others. My target market is manufacturing companies, specifically engineering and also trades people. The service that I offer that differs from many is the experience. Unlike other agencies, I do not discard you after i get a contract or a candidate is placed. Also my expertise. I am now also a specialist in the area of manufacturing. I've educated myself with all the trades in depth.

    Let me be crystal clear...do you recruit people or wait for job seekers to come to you for jobs with firms?

    Companies or people I guess is my question.
