Website Colors For Trust, Confidence, Desirability

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
My problem requires a simple but effective solution. I am putting up a new website which is aimed at B2C and B2B clients.
The aim of the site is to provide good but alluring content which addresses their perceived needs and pre-sells them on the solutions which I offer.
The site is a two stage tool which requires an emial input to gain access to the second stage offerings of the site. The second stage introduces the solutions on offer and the levels/pricing at which they are made available.
I need a color scheme and visual display which reinforces the concepts of confidence, trust and encourages a call to action in the site visitors.
The placement, dominance, and use of the colors needs to be effective in promoting the goals as outlined in the question.
Any ideas?

Blue, Yellow, Green? In that order?

there are so many templates out there. Blue/Gray are considered conservative. Yellow would be more aggressive.
