Webinar Invitation Questions

Posted by Mario R on 250 Points
Hi,

We sent out an invitation to an upcoming web conference recently, but less folks registered than we'd hoped. Those who registered were sent a separate, confirmation-type email with event call-in info and a full copy of the presentation, none of which was included on the original invite.

Does it make sense to send this confirmation-type email to those that haven't registered as well, as a final push to get them to attend?

My concern is giving away a whole presentation file, and a call-in number (normally reserved for registrants) to a list of non-responders.

Thoughts?

Why not give a sample of the presentation materials to those that haven't registered? That'll let them see what they'll be missing, and if they really do want to be on the call.

Consider sending a "contents" page with excerpts of a couple of sessions...

All great suggestions. We decided to offer audio to non-responders only, and state that full exhibits are available for download as soon as they register.

    Hope that works. Thanks!!
