Email Marketing Hosting

I work for a hospital that has several security roadblocks that keep us from hosting our own email marketing software, and sending our campaigns from our servers. What is a good web hosted solution that will allow us to send, manage and track our emails without having to go through our firewalls?

We have had several offers to outsource this, but we are hoping to keep it in house.

    Their site's not as slick as some of the others out there, but he's a tech-guy, and the tools and pricing are unbeatable.

    I highly recommend www.constantcontact.com as well. I use it as well as most of my clients. Very easy to use.

    I frequently get e-mails sent out of Lyris which seems to work pretty well, but if I was in your shoes, I'd talk to the #1 expert in e-mail marketing here at KHE, Tim Pepper of Pepper Blue.

    How big is the list you need to send?

    Here is a link to free products that you can install on a shared web server. Sign up for a shared web server account from a hosting company. Make sure that your shared server has php and mysql installed on it. Fees are very reasoable per month for shared hosting. Then you have a server thats outside your own network, but you still have access to it via any web browser.

    Download and install one or more of these free products from these guys.

    I've used both these products, and they are very good. Both are web based e-mail programs, but without the monthly fees from the other hosted applications.

    Setting up these systems is easy, but if you need help, feel free to ask. If you want, I could configure them for you on your server.
