Interview Q & A For An Advertising Agency

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I have experience in Marketing but not in the Advertising field. I am expecting a call for an interview from a newly opening Advertising Agency. Its for the post of Marketing and Sales Person.
Suppose they ask me:
" How will you introduce our agency to the already existing market?"
(or) " How will you bring up the company from scratch?"
(or) "What strategies will you follow?"
How should I handle these questions?

What other questions can I expect? How should I tackle them?

I would like to hear your experienced ideas and suggestions.

It's unwise to offer advice unless you've done your homework first. For the agency itself, how much research have you done about them, their clients, their history, their marketing strategy, their successes/failures, their competition, etc.? Ideally, they want not to hear the "answer", but rather your thinking process. So, share with them the goals as you see them, then show how you can help achieve these goals based on assumptions on resource allocation.
