    The one that has the best understanding of the prospective customer needs, is targeted to them, with a great offer, and with an understanding of the lifetime value of acquiring them.

    Very situation dependent. What will be best for one product or market may not work at all for another.

    If you can provide more details about what product, market, geography, who customers are, etc. you are working with, we may be able to provide answers that would be more useful for you.

    Return on WHAT kind of investment?

    Your investment of time, money, effort, action, expertise, product quality, or value delivery?

    Fast ROI will only get you so far. You need to look at sustained ROI over time.

    I know everyones time is important and I appreciate all the comments...this has been a lot of help. My company's services are unique (I'm sure everyone feels the same way about theirs) and our services provide solutions for a federal mandate, one of which we are the sole provider of. Our target markets are local, state and Federal Emergency Managers. We also provide services to other "critical need" areas such as medical facilities and law enforcement.
