How To Generate Leads Online During A B2b Show

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
Hello,

We'll be participating in a B2B trade show and will do invites before the show via email and create a special landing page on our website. On this page interested parties can read more about the show and book show appointments with us.

Now I want your ideas on how to use online methods to help the lead generation process DURING the show.
All ideas are welcome.

If the people are at the show, then odds are they wouldn't be looking at your site then. Why not have your staff blog/tweet about the show for those that aren't in attendance. Or, for those at the show, have your staff take a photo of one of people who's visited your show booth and upload. People whose photos are uploaded can claim a prize by identifying themselves the following day.

For whatever reason, not everyone who wants to attend a trade show are able to be attend, which appears to be your concern. Seems to me that simply having the landing page up and running during the day of the show with a question: "Can't make the XYZ trade show but would like further info?" invites them to leave the info for your follow up the next day.

My company uses PUBLITRAC, formerly alsamarketing, which is an online marketing software (for marketing automation) which helps you set up your email, your mailing list and your email blasts ahead of time.
There's almost no learning curve because the interface is really user friendly and resembles a lot of Microsoft Office programs.
You should really check it out : https://www.publitrac.com/features
The company also bills you by number of contacts stored on your mailing list, and we haven't had to sign any contracts (it's monthly payments).
