Need Great Tagline For New Biz Open The Door Group

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I've recently started a new business -- offering branding, marketing communications and social media strategic planning and implementation to small and medium-sized businesses in a major Southeastern city. While I have been great at coming up with amazing names and taglines for clients, I'm having trouble with my own (...the cobbler's kids had no shoes...). I envision copy to be about opening the door to increased sales, more clients, better branding, etc. but don't want to use "open the door" also in the tagline. Thoughts and ideas are much appreciated for a good tagline!

Since you have a name that isn't specific to what you do or who the target audience is ("Open the Door Group"), it's imperative that you do both in your tagline. Of course, it would be nice to reference the key positioning benefit you deliver, but it's much more important to let your audience know what you are/do, and for whom.

Simply saying, "We open the door" doesn't really let them know much.

Consider some reference to marketing, your geographic location, and local or regional businesses. (Example: "Where Charlotte businesses go to grow")

(Aside: Opening the door isn't really a big benefit - your clients are ultimately looking for more clients, better clients, etc.)

As for a tagline, consider: "Marketing Solutions For Charlotte Businesses".

    Karen,
Are you saying your company name is "Open Door Marketing?"...or something similar?

Consider why people hire you: They want more business, more quickly with more profit. How about "More to the power of 3"
