I Would Like To Get Suggestion For A Name

I was using in my Jewelry business the name of Jewelry by Pia but I was suggested to change the brand to a stronger and more professional name. I thought of using Pia by Pia Cevallos. Please let me know what suggestions do you have.

    It depends on who your target audience is, what you're trying to communicate, and how much equity you have in the current name.

    Whoever suggested that you need a stronger and more professional name must have imagined that the current name was not suitable going forward. Is that the case? If you're happy with your business as it is, then there really is no need to change the name.

    If you DO opt to change the name, I'm not sure "Pia by Pia Cevallos" is the right way to go, because it gives no hint of what you do, who your target audience is, or what unique benefit you provide. The best names communicate a benefit of some kind for your primary target audience.

    No suggestions until I know who your primary target audience is and what you are trying to communicate to them. Coming up with a great name is all about what WORKS. And what usually works is a name that speaks directly and specifically to your target audience, discloses what you do/sell, and tells them the key reason they might want to buy from you.

    If we don't know who the audience is, or what's in it for them to pay attention, then how can we come up with a good name?

    In this case, it's probably a good idea to understand why you want to change the name at all. What's wrong with the current name? What problem are you trying to solve with the name change?

    If your jewelry is of the quality of and has the potential to be as marketable as a line like David Yurman or Roberto Coin, I think Pia by Pia Cevallos would be great. You'll have to do a lot of marketing and get a lot of people to wear it so others will ask, who's piece is this?
